Warhammer: Chaosbane is an absolute treat for fans of the Warhammer universe. The team deserves a standing ovation for their attention to detail. To simply call it a "Diablo clone" would be insulting. Warhammer: Chaosbane tries to do new and unique things to the dungeon crawler genre. Naturally, you end up setting off on a quest to find who's responsible and save Magnus yourself. In Chaosbane, you play as one of four major classes: soldier, mage, slayer, and ranger, each with their own unique motivations when it comes to slaying the Chaos hordes. The core of the game's story takes place right after you stop a Chaos invasion, but a dark demon sorceress invades your stronghold and puts your leader Magnus in a deep magic coma. You can play through the destruction in Fatshark's Vermintide 1 and 2. Chaosbane takes place before the end times happen, during one of the first major chaos invasions. The chaos gods end up successfully killing off and destroying the Warhammer universe as we know it. The current Warhammer universe is called Age of Sigmar.
